Many times, we hear and read that content is important, we see phrases like “content is king”, but do you really know how relevant the content for your digital selling strategy is? You may ask yourself: “What is the point of using my time to create quality content on my social networks? Those who do can confirm that getting it right takes a lot of effort and hours of research, analysis, design, planning and management (before and after the post).

  • Listen: What does your audience want to read/see? (Trend filtering will help you discover it online.)
  • Tell a story: And make it real. Don’t ruin your reputation with copying or inventing. Use storytelling techniques to tell experiences that add value.
  • Less is more: Don’t bore your audience by lengthening the content. Summarize what is important.
  • Connect with emotions: Motivate, persuade, encourage.
  • Be clear: Say goodbye to redundancy.
  • Write to a human being: Don’t talk like a robot!
  • Powerful words: Use meaningfully impressive words.
  • Express your opinion: On professional issues and avoiding hate speech.
  • Share informative material: Make sure it is valuable material to your target audience.

Two points to highlight about content strategy

  1. Although it has great scalability, the greatest outcomes are usually seen within +12 months.
  2. Work must be done within the framework of a comprehensive digital strategy, and in parallel less scalable and more personalized strategies must be implemented, while maintaining a strategy that fosters one-to-one marketing.
